NORTH COAST GROWERS ASSOCIATION
Manages the Eureka/Arcata Farmers Markets. Fruit, vegetable, ornamental crop farmers, Some seafood and wool. General membership meets twice a year, Board of Directors meets almost every month.

HUMBOLDT COUNTY FARM BUREAU
Local chapter of statewide and national organization which is farmer membership. Political action on all issues of agriculture, land use planning, watersheds etc.  Education and local economic growth of ag industry are all topics they embrace. Several on-going committees. Locally mostly beef, dairy, timber and a few row crop farmers are active.

CALIFORNIA CERTIFIED ORGANIC FARMERS HUMBOLDT TRINITY CHAPTER (also includes Del Norte)
A local chapter of the statewide organization that inspects, educates, and supports organic farming.

HUMBOLDT COUNTY WOOL GROWERS
Ranchers who raise sheep for meat and wool meet semi-annually to promote their industry.

HUMBOLDT CREAMERY ASSOCIATION
A cooperative of dairy producers who own and run the Humboldt Creamery to process their milk, and many other dairy products.

Supporting goat breeders and fanciers in Humboldt County, California, Northern California, and Southern Oregon.

FORESTRY REVIEW COMMITTEE
The Forestry Review Committee (FRC) was originally established in 1952 by Ordinance No. 1711 of the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors and consists of seven voting and two ex-officio (non-voting) members. The FRC reviews technical forest-related matters of concern to Humboldt County and makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission.

FOREST MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE, Arcata, CA
The Forest Management Committee consists of seven members who have interest, knowledge or experience in multi-resource forest management, which includes forest ecology, forest management, watershed management, wildlife, fisheries, botany and recreation. Of the 7 members, five must live within Arcata City limits and two may live or work in the Arcata Planning Area. Dennis Halligan, Chair (through 2027)
